School Council

The School Council was introduced to develop feelings of citizenship and to involve all children, to some extent, in the running of the school.

A new School Council is elected in Term 1 each year by the children, with representatives from every Year 1 and 2 class.

The School Council meet weekly with our Personal, Social, Health Education Co-ordinator, Mrs Oram.

Headboy and Headgirl Election

Following our School Council election, all Year 2 School Councillors campaign to be elected to the role of Headboy and Headgirl.

An Election Day is held when the school becomes a Polling Station. All children vote using a voting slip in our voting booths. The result is announced in our Headboy and Headgirl results assembly.

Our Headboy and Headgirl for 2018-19 are Bertie Gray and Jamie-Lee Campbell.
