Welcome to Rainbow Class Nursery! We are an outstanding Nursery within Callis Grange Nursery and Infant School which means that we not only have access to our own exciting and engaging learning environment but we also regularly use areas within the main school, for example, the Hall, the Library area, the Learning Den and even the Forest School! We are very much a part of every day life at Callis Grange and also have the opportunity to join in with many whole school events such as Sports Events, musical events and celebration days.
Rainbow Class Nursery is led by a qualified teacher who has a wealth of experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage and is supported by a fantastic team of experienced Nursery Assistants. Callis Grange Nursery and Infant School received the Early Years Quality Mark in 2010 in recognition of the school’s commitment to improving outcomes for all children through leadership, reflective practice and continuing professional development for staff. Since that date, the school has regularly undertaken its own self-evaluation of the Quality Mark Standards, as maintained Early Years Settings can no longer be part of this award.

Attending Rainbow Class Nursery does not guarantee your child a place within the main school, however, results have shown that attending our Nursery has a positive impact upon children’s school readiness and skills. We are very proud of our stimulating, engaging and child centred environment and the quality of provision for every child in our Nursery so please contact the School Office if you would like to view Rainbow Class.
