School Council
The School Council was introduced to develop feelings of citizenship and to involve all children, to some extent, in the running of the school.
A new School Council is elected in Term 1 each year by the children, with representatives from every Year 1 and 2 class.
The School Council meet weekly with Miss Barker.

Head Pupils Election
Following our School Council election, all Year 2 School Councillors campaign to be elected to the role of Head Pupils. We have two Head Pupils at Callis Grange.
An Election Day is held when the school becomes a Polling Station. All children vote using a voting slip in our voting booths. The result is announced in our Head Pupils results assembly.
